1. Acceptable use
Do not send unlawful, abusive, impersonating, spam, or deliberately false material. Do not paste WhatsApp forwards and call them news. Do not offer a job that charges for an interview.
2. What you send
You should only share text and pictures you have the right to share. We may edit, refuse, or archive. A submit or contact form opening your mail app is not a contract to publish.
3. Dates, hours and the calendar
Panguni 2026 closed on 1 April. Margazhi lists appear in November. Temple darshan (5:30 AM–12:30 PM, 4:00–9:30 PM) and basilica Mass times move on festival days. Check the temple board, 044 2464 1670, or santhomechurch.org. Messes close for family functions without a website note.
4. Jobs, property and directory
Example teaching and Mandaveli rent pages are formats. They are not vacancies or units. When live listings exist, you still do your own checks before you pay a deposit, sign a lease, or resign. Featured or “nearby” placement is not an endorsement of a silk shop, clinic or school.
5. Advertising
Google AdSense units are labelled “Advertisement” and are distinct from editorial cards. Do not click ads as a way to “support the site.” Staff and contributors must not click their own ads. Local paid placements (silk, clinics, schools) are sold separately and will also be labelled. We may refuse ads that are unsafe, off-area, or dressed as news. See Advertise, Privacy and Cookies.
6. Words, marks and photographs
MyMylapore branding and original copy on these pages stay ours to the extent the law allows. Kapaleeshwarar, Nalli, school names and parish names remain their owners’. Archive festival photographs are reused as neighbourhood history, not as a 2026 press kit.
7. Civic reports
Call the corporation or police first. A story on this site is not a complaint number. We will not publish a private house layout to settle a neighbour dispute.
